Safe Haven Pregnancy Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing hope, advocacy, and compassionate support to women through confidential counseling, parenting education, practical resources, and ongoing care. Safe Haven walks alongside mothers as they navigate one of life's most transformative journeys.

On June 19, 2026, we gathered once again for an evening that has become deeply meaningful to our hearts—the fourth annual Safe Haven Gala, hosted by The Salt + Light Co. More than a celebration, La Bella Vita was a testament to resilience, courage, and the beauty found in choosing hope.

Each year, this gala shines a light on the life-changing work of Safe Haven Pregnancy Center. Their mission extends far beyond pregnancy support; they provide free pregnancy testing, essential resources, and continued care through a baby's first year of life, ensuring that no woman has to face motherhood alone. Through every challenge and uncertainty, Safe Haven offers women the confidence, support, and dignity they deserve as they embrace the calling of motherhood.

The Heart Behind La Bella Vita

The evening opened with remarks from The Salt + Light Co.'s Co-Founder, Shine Walker, who reflected on the intentionality behind each gala theme. Speaking to this year's La Bella Vita theme, she honored the women of Safe Haven—women who know storms intimately and have emerged stronger because of them.

"Refined by storms, pressed like an olive, squeezed like a lemon, and yet still standing."

Her words beautifully captured the spirit of the evening: a celebration of women whose hardships have not diminished them, but rather revealed their strength, grace, and perseverance.

Voices That Inspired

Keynote speaker, Ramona "Mona" McManus, President and Director of Safe Haven Pregnancy Center, shared her personal testimony and reflected on how Safe Haven's mission is deeply woven into her own story. Her heartfelt words reminded everyone in attendance of the profound impact one organization can have on countless lives.

Following her message, guests were moved by a video featuring mothers whose lives had been transformed through Safe Haven's support. Each woman shared her journey and spoke about the encouragement, resources, and guidance that empowered her to care for her child and move forward with confidence. In a touching moment that brought the room to its feet, these mothers were then recognized among the audience. Seeing them surrounded by a community of supporters served as a powerful reminder of the lives behind the mission—and the reason we continue to champion this cause.

- Olfactory Creative delighted guests with an interactive scent bar experience, allowing attendees to take home a meaningful keepsake.

- Velani Jewelry showcased a collection of thoughtfully curated pieces that were both timeless and sentimental, adding a touch of beauty to the evening's experience.

- Souline Photo Booth provided guests with the opportunity to capture memories with loved ones, creating lasting mementos of a night dedicated to purpose and possibility.

Continuing the Mission Together

At the heart of the evening was a shared belief: every woman is worthy of support, every child is worthy of love, and every story is worth fighting for.

Because of the incredible generosity of everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, volunteered, and participated in our live and silent auctions, we are honored to share that this year's Safe Haven Gala raised approximately $54,000 in support of Safe Haven Pregnancy Center. This remarkable milestone reflects a community that believes every mother, every child, and every life is worth investing in.
