We stand behind the quality of our products and want you to feel confident in every piece you bring home. Each item is thoughtfully crafted and carefully inspected before it leaves our shoppe.
Case Goods:
All case goods—including tables, cabinets, dressers, consoles, and other hard-surface furniture—are final sale once delivered and signed for. We do not accept exchanges or returns on these items after delivery confirmation. Please take a moment to carefully inspect your case goods upon delivery. If any damage or defect is found, it must be noted and reported to our Client Experience Team within 48 hours of receipt.
Upholstered Items:
We do not accept returns on upholstered pieces for reasons other than verified manufacturing defects. Upholstery is covered under a 30-day warranty for factory defects only.
To initiate a return, please request an authorization by emailing support@thesaltandlighthome.com within 30 days of delivery. Our team will review your claim and guide you through the next steps.
Restocking Fees & Final Sale Items:
- Rugs and lighting are subject to a 15% restocking fee if returned unused and uninstalled.
- Certain items cannot be returned, exchanged, or canceled, including items ending in 99 (e.g., $299, $1,199), Made-to-Order furniture, items purchased as final sale, studio or staging floor samples, and items that have been used or damaged through normal wear and tear. Other restrictions may apply.
Damaged or Defective Items:
Our team inspects every item prior to delivery and pick-up. However, should you receive a damaged or defective piece, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt so we can promptly arrange a replacement.
